That's right we have officially reached 24 weeks and viability. At this point our babies have a chance at survival, by no means do we want to meet them anytime soon but this is a huge milestone. 4 weeks ago we were told we would never see this day, to her credit Amy-Jo never listened to the doubters and she kept a great attitude the whole time.
Getting here the last week hasn't been without a few bumps in the road. Last week AJ's contractions starting getting worse. As a result the doctors started her on Procardia to help control the contractions. The few times this didn't work they gave her a Terb Shot which is has more of an immediate effect. The shot is much more effective but comes with much more side effects, so they will continue to give this on a as needed basis only. But needless to say she is really starting to get uncomfortable and feel more twinges and twitches then ever.
The previous post is the Ambien post I had been promising, I was going to post it earlier but with everything else going on I decided to wait. I hope everyone had a great Christmas, ours was nice considering we were stuck in the hospital. AJ's parents made a whole feast and wrapped everything up and brought it to us.
Please keep us in your prayers and our new goal of 28 weeks! Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive through this difficult time.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
I will pray that your body & those babies can hang on another 4weeks if not 6! I'm so impressed with your strength, your determination, & positive attitude despite all you have been thru. You have already proven yourself to be the best mommy ever!
Congratulations on getting to this huge milestone!
Yeah!!!!I am so excited...Patrick & I were laughing so hard about the ambien stories. We can picture all that happening. We love you both & can't wait to get out there and see you all, it's coming I know it is....
Thinking of you all always,
Christine
God is so good! All praise and glory to Him for bringing you and the babies this far. Keep the faith. We'll keep the prayers coming.
Christine called me this morning about the newest posts. We laughed about the ambien post and then I laughed again when I got online and read it. It is so great to see you have both kept your sense of humor while being held captive in a hospital room. God bless.
Love and prayares,
Joanne
Congratulations Sathers! Praying for the next goal. Way to go girl!
Yay!! So proud of you Amy Jo, I knew you could and would do it!
I would check Brandon's pockets before leaving the hospital at the end of this ... he might try to sneak away some Ambien so he can occasionally relive those moments :)
Keep strong, we will talk soon!
Love you all!
Barb
Ok, that Ambien post had me rolling on the floor! You are too funny!!
Congrats on the 24 week milestone! I remember it well, we celebrated in my hospital room and stayed up late watching movies like teenagers...good times, good times. 4 more weeks would be good and 6-8 more would be GREAT. You can do it! Geaux momma Geaux and grow babies grow.
Love from Louisiana,
Jac & Crew
Hi Brandon & Amy-Jo, AND babies,
Such good news. You are so strong and when you make up your mind to do something, by gosh you do it. That's our A.J. Will keep the prayers going and I think THE music box had a meaning, a good one. Know we love you all, talk with you tomorrow.
love and hugs----Nana & Papa
Congratulations guys! It was so great to see you Sunday, I am so happy we could celebrate the milestone with you! We love your positive attitude and I am sure it has something to do with how well you're doing! We hope to see those babies in no less than 4 weeks, we'll be routing for you!
